Love By Living Waters
$6.95 – $83.00
“…along the bank of the river, were very many trees on one side and the other. Then he said to me: “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed. And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.” Ezekiel 47:7-9
The two tall slim young trees symbolise a new marriage, with the roots of trees constantly moving in the water of an active rapidly flowing stream. The two trees are planted side-by-side in equal settings. This represents being equally yoked.
Each tree is planted separately, indicating maintaining individuality, but planted so close that the canopies touch and begin to intermingle. The roots do not join, however they are so entwined that to separate them would be impossible without breaking them. The roots form a net, like an old-fashioned “fishing net”, to represents the gift of evangelism.
Blue has a biblical meaning of humanity and healing, with the calling to minister in the gift of healing, both physical and emotional. The blossoms are yellow, white and gold, symbolising happiness, purity and glory, with red and orange, symbolising passion and intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
The living waters the trees are planted in are unaffected by time or season, and satisfy the deepest needs of humanity. As you and your partner each look to Christ, ‘every living thing that moves, will live’. The painting is a reminder of your source of life. Also, the wildflowers growing around the base of the trees are a reminder to stop, rest in the shade, and cultivate growth close to home base. Love demonstrated for a multitude.
Technically-speaking, our prints are not prints at all, not in the common use of the term, but are fine art reproductions of original works. The quality is so high that it is difficult to tell between the reproduction and the original. Giclee Reproductions are premium high-resolution digital images produced on museum quality, Canson 300-320gsm Cotton Rag (fine cotton fibres woven into a paper-like product) printed with archival Canon Lucia EX 12-colour pigment high-performance inks. Canon Lucia EX pigment inks achieve an “under glass” permanence of 95 years for colour images.
Giclee can be confusing, as many may incorrectly assume that all digital printing is equal. Essentially Giclee (pronounced ‘zhee-clay’) is an invented name from the French word ‘le gicleur’ meaning ‘to squirt’. Originally coined in 1991 to distinguish between common digital prints and the highest quality form of art reproductions using wide-format inkjet printing technology. In 30 years, this technology has advanced enormously, giving an even wider distinction between Giclee reproductions and digital prints. However, we still use the word ‘print’ so that we are easily understood.
Fine Art Giclee Reproductions should be framed behind glass, using a matte to separate them from the glass. Consult your local framer for the best way to frame your reproduction and read our blog article “Caring for your Fine Art” for information on ensuring your artwork still looks amazing for 3 – 4 generations.
