“Birth of Anointing”
by Wendy Manzo

I feel this painting is the Spirit of Christmas, as the Lord became the smallest of human beings. An infant child was born to us, born of the anointing, born of humble beginnings and yet He was conceived before the birth of time.

Narrative and backstory:

Until I made this one available as a Giclee Reproduction, it was titled “Birth of Ministry” as it was painted in a 15-minute demonstration of worship ‘speed painting’ in a Prophetic Art Workshop. It turned a canvas from 2011 into a word for the day’s class. Originally titled ‘Mystery in Presence’ it became “secrets revealed”, as I painted quickly with my hands and swept over the painting in blues but kept the centre swirl for the texture. Suddenly my dark blue fingerprints became people … the message was that you are not alone. When you’re in that place of surrender unto Him, and your heart is yielded, He covers you with His glory and brings you into a community – those who you walk with and those who you minister to – and surrounds you with angelic helpers. Finally, I painted the golden egg … and the ministry is birthed. That day precious ministries in art worship began as we felt His anointed pleasure upon us.

I re-titled it as in 2022 the Lord gave Lana Vawser a word: “It may look small, but it is birthing a monumental movement.” The Lord showed me (Lana) that He is speaking to many right now about new assignments and new pathways. He is speaking about new directions and new blueprints and the leading of His Spirit into ways that look completely different and the ‘way’ has never been ‘done before’. It’s a pioneering trial. “My precious ones, I want you to pay attention to the ‘small’ things that I am asking you to do. Do not overlook the ‘small’, because it may look like a ‘small beginning’ but what I am having you do, the way I am having you walk, the new strategy I am speaking to you in the ‘smallest of details’ are going to be places where you will see the birthing of a monumental movement.”

I (Wendy) want to encourage all those who feel their beginnings are small and insignificant – that is not the truth because small things become big things very quickly in the Lord’s hand – as Lana has said, “I saw fire falling on people feeling like they are caught in the ‘ho-hum’ of life, and suddenly their eyes and hearts were completely changed in this encounter by HIS PERSPECTIVE and they began to see the MOVEMENT of His Spirit that He was birthing with such an increase of ferocity of His fire and love in their midst.”

Description

Technically-speaking, our prints are not prints at all, not in the common use of the term, but are fine art reproductions of original works. The quality is so high that it is difficult to tell between the reproduction and the original. Giclee Reproductions are premium high resolution digital images produced on museum quality, Canson 300-320gsm Cotton Rag (fine cotton fibres woven into a paper-like product) printed with archival Canon Lucia EX 12-colour pigment high performance inks. Canon Lucia EX pigment inks achieve an “under glass” permanence of 95 years for colour images.

Giclee can be confusing, as many may incorrectly assume that all digital printing is equal. Essentially Giclee (pronounced ‘zhee-clay’) is an invented name from the French word ‘le gicleur’ meaning ‘to squirt’. Originally coined in 1991 to distinguish between common digital prints and the highest quality form of art reproductions using wide format inkjet printing technology. In 30 years, this technology has advanced enormously, giving an even wider distinction between Giclee reproductions and digital prints. However, we still use the word ‘print’ so that we are easily understood.

Fine Art Giclee Reproductions should be framed behind glass, using a matte to separate them from the glass. Consult your local framer for the best way to frame your reproduction and read our blog article “Caring for your Fine Art” for information on ensuring your artwork still looks amazing for 3 – 4 generations.
